Character Name: Matsuda Touta

Affiliation: Undecided, however, Matsuda leans most towards The Justice League and their beliefs. He’s believed in super heroes since he was a kid and acknowledging his own powers knows that they do in fact exist.

Superpower: Telekinesis with mild Telepathy. He can manipulate objects with his mind, but minimally. For example, he couldn’t bend a 20-story building to his will without getting a migraine nor could he bust up a bridge without blacking out afterwards. He can bend small and medium objects fairly easily, but larger objects with sturdier foundations cause him more harm than good. Telepathically, Matsuda is more comfortable with sending thoughts than receiving them. He has yet to master this ability and only uses it if he has to.

History:
Experimented on at a young age at the Yucca Mountain Research Facility, Matsuda had gone through many procedures to test his abilities. His Telepathy was not the most advanced and after many failed experiments scientists had concluded that even as an adult his powers hadn’t fully developed. They theorized, however, that in time if he was pushed to the limit then surely their work would finally come to fruition.

Furthering their research, the scientists had moved him to another sector of the facility where he was tested once more; given objects to mold with his powers. The objects started off small and lightweight, easy for him to hold together as he willingly did was what was told by forming them into something new or familiar to him. The later objects became much larger and heavier to the point where it would cause him strain as a result. He suffered severe headaches if pushed too far and would sometimes fall asleep during tests due to fatigue.

Frowning upon this, the scientists worked to lessen his weaknesses; however, they failed to do this just before his release.

Able to move around freely once his confinement ended, Matsuda moved into Cereulan Sky Apartments where he has been living comfortably ever since. He still practices with his powers and occasionally plays with a set of magnetic rocks that he carries around in his pocket for amusement; the rocks giving him a sense of security and control as he is able to manipulate them without much strain.

Living day to day as full-time cop, Matsuda takes pleasure in hanging out at the local hot spots and settles in at the Galyuu Bar come nightfall for some downtime. Naturally outgoing, Matsuda loves to have fun and sees life as a game and finds delight in the simplest things. He is good- natured and is always willing to help people in need, but cross him and he can prove to be quite the formidable opponent.

One…Two…Three…

Matsuda counted inwardly as he paced back and forth in his bedroom with a stack of magnetic rocks in his hand. He had stopped by the local gift shop on the way home from work and had bought a whole pack of them, intrigued by their magnetic capability as he manipulated them with his powers.

Watching as the onyx tower bent back and forth, forming all sorts of shapes as black eyes narrowed in concentration; bemusement in his eyes as he bent the stones back in attempts to form an even more intricate design.

"There,” he beamed as he formed them into a bird big enough to fit in his hand and smiled, proud of his work as he set it down gently on the desk. Luckily, something as simple as this required little effort and he didn’t have to worry about straining his mind as he went to admire the view from his bedroom window.

From here he could see the pool as well as the city, although quiet as it was he knew the city itself was constantly awake; alive with people along with many other mysteries that he wished to grasp the knowledge of. Ever since he discovered his powers as a child he had wanted to try them out, and seeing the Justice League broadcast on the way home had excited him.

Why sit at home and use his powers on paperweights when he could use them for good while on duty? The very thought captivated him; Lost in childhood memories as he grew even more excited; eager to make his childhood dream come true.
